WHO WE ARE . . .
The aroma of flavoured butters was a compelling enough reason to inspire me to keep a variety of flavoursome butters in my kitchen for daily use - melted on toast, baked potatoes, a great and totally tasty surprise for guests, whilst making life easy.
Inspired by this idea I established Butter-Fingers in County Durham in November 2008.

From a unit on the Dabble Duck Industrial Estate, County Durham, we blend creamy top quality butter with a range of tasty ingredients such as locally-sourced herbs roughly chopped to produce handy-sized fingers for use by cooks wanting to add a quick burst of flavour to their dishes.
Award-winning fine food emporium Lewis & Cooper was the first to snap up our range, encouraging us to bring forward our business expansion plans for Butter-Fingers first Christmas.
Lewis & Cooper delicatessen manager Christine Garner said: “It’s a very unusual product - very simple but very convenient. It takes a lot of time to create flavoured butters, but this is a great corner-cutter”.
I was born in Singapore and brought up in an environment of exotic tastes and blends of flavours, and drew on international inspiration for my Butter-Fingers range of 100g savoury packs which include sun-dried tomato & basil, garlic and flat leaf parsley, hot chilli & zest of lime, seriously smoked salmon & chives, and mixed milled peppercorns and sea salt varieties. This is a great way to discover how easy it is to dish out delicious meals in more diverse ways giving you a professional finish.
In June 2009 I launched my new range of sweet butters at the Harrogate Fine Food Show. These include Sweet Citrus Lemon Butter, Sweet Tangy Orange Butter, Sweet Fragrant Ginger Butter and Sweet Zesty Lime Butter. They are a totally new and unique cutting edge for any breakfast table, on toast, croissants or warm crusty bread. For lunch and through-the-day treats they are perfect partners for scones, sponges, parkin, cakes & loaves (warm or cold). In the evenings ideal melted on crumpets, pancakes, bagels or muffins.
These sweet butters are a total success on flavour and have been snapped up by existing and new Butter-Fingers stockists as something totally unique.
